Ready for a glimpse into a fantastical Pier 9 Future? 

Please join us for the Future Factories Exhibition at the 1Mkt Gallery on Tuesday, February 7th, from 6-7:30pm.
Conceptual and automated models, drawings, and renderings will bring these future visions to life.

Autodesk Pier 9 partnered with California College of the Arts to co-teach an architectural studio exploring designs and speculation around a future facility that could live on Pier 9. The student projects address wearable tech, automotive, factory farming, and natural resource harvesting as well as material flows, urban impact and future social realities. ARUP’s work on ‘Rethinking the Factory’ will be presented along with the case studies, field work, and philosophies that underlie their research on the subject. 

Drinks and light food will be served. Public is welcome. This exhibit will be on display through the month of February.
